Salary:£negotiable depending on experience paid fortnightly plus tips.

Days:5 days out of 7 - mixture of shifts

Covers:Dinner: 250 - 400 over the day; Functions: Up to 250
Food type:Hearty Scottish with a few Indian dishes - everything made fresh on premises
Full-time chefs:6+Kitchen Porters
Accommodation:Own en-suite hotel room available at £50 per week
Job description:

The Fenwick Hotel is a 3* 30 bedroom hotel situated 7 miles from Kilmarnock. We are just of the M77 and we have good transport links.

We are looking for a hands on, experienced head chef to lead our team. You will be in charge of the day to day running of the kitchen including ordering, hygiene, stock-control and all the relevant paper work.

You will need to have experience of high volume as we are a busy, fast-paced hotel and you will also need to be able to train up the junior members of the team.
