Job description:

Skeabost House Hotel on the beautiful island of Skye is a famous hotel overlooking Loch Snizort 6 miles from the main town of Portree.

This is a family owned and run hotel, and part of the Sonas Hotel Collection.

It is a fantastic place to live and work particularly for those who enjoy the outdoors, including fishing

We are looking for a Head Chef who is experienced in managing a hotel kitchen, including the popular restaurant. Ideally, this will be someone who is keen to make their mark on this iconic Skye hotel and continue to make it a local and visitor favourite.

Responsible for managing and training the kitchen team, ordering and stock management, adhering strictly to hygiene and health and safety regulations, maintaining a GP of 70%.

Local produce available, it is important to foster great relationships with local suppliers.

Training opportunities for all levels of position, depending on interests and role development

Willing to wait for the right candidate.
