Salary:Up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience paid monthly with tips - bonuses available for GP

Days:5 days out of 7 - mostly split shifts
Holidays:Statutory (28 days p/a)

Food type:Quality bar meals - a la carte and Table d'hote
Full-time chefs:4 chefs plus kitchen porters
Accommodation:Accommodation available in shared staff house - meals on duty
Job description:

The Kingsknowes Hotel is a 12 bedroom 3 star hotel situated in Galashiels in the Heart of The Scottish Borders just 40 miles from Edinburgh, 17 miles from Kelso and 5 miles from Selkirk.

We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to take charge of our busy kitchen.

Duties include - Ordering, Stock Control, Rotas, Training Junior Members, Menu Palnning, Health Safety & Hygiene, Maintaining a Clean Kitchen.

This is a busy establishment, where no two days are the same.

This position is available now but happy to wait for the right candidate.
