Job description: | Douneside House is a unique country house hotel. It is independently owned and operated by The MacRobert Trust, a charitable organisation which is based at The MacRobert Estate, Tarland, Aberdeenshire. Douneside House won the Aberdeen City and Shire Thistle Award for “Best Eating Experience 2024” and was awarded "AA Inspector's Choice Hotel 2025". We are a small team that loves providing an amazing guest experience that is personal to each person who visits. There are two on-site restaurants, the Conservatory restaurant (up to 40 covers) and the 3 AA rosette Library restaurant (up to 14 covers). We are looking for an experienced breakfast chef to join the team. You must have proven experience within a similar luxury kitchen environment, a true passion for food, a willingness to learn, and good food hygiene and knife skills.
