Job description: | We're looking for General Assistants for our hotel. These roles are all about ensuring our hotel guests are exceptionally well looked after, we pride ourselves on very high standards and have the awards to prove it. You will be a hospitality all rounder or looking to become one. You must be happy to work in a hands-on operational role rather than management. It’s about a mix of shifts in housekeeping, table service, laundry and washing dishes. Small team, no specialists, but be assured - everyone in this team maters. Great for outdoors enthusiasts or equally those wanting to save money. The hotel is on the famous North Coast 500 route about 40 miles north of Ullapool. It has 10 guest bedrooms and our restaurant is also open for external bookings each evening. This is a tranquil location, remote, without nearby public transport (staff car is available). Although you will be busy it’s not a frantic pace. You must love dogs as half our rooms are “pet friendly”. The position can come with live in accommodation and staff food. No charges are made for either. The roster is typically 5 days over every 7 and includes some early starts (07.30 am), a mix of split shifts and work through days. There is a standard rota but team members can agree to swap shifts or days off within reason. Seasonal position and if the job suits both there is the opportunity to come back in 2026. |
