Availability of work
For permanent job, the availability of chefs is decent
Things a chef will look for a in a permanent job is wage ideally they will look for good hourly paid jobs or a decent salary with over time paid. Accommodation to be provided as part of the package, hours around 40 – 45, for senior positions maybe a bonus scheme.
We do suggest to employers, that if they look to pay hourly rates say from £16 chef de partie to £19 Sous to £22 for head chef jobs
If you would like to register a permanent job please get in touch with Ian, Ruth or myself
For Relief chefs the availability is excellent and these are with well known chefs to CIS, we now have a Magic 50 in place and most of these chefs are available to work over the festive period.
If looking for a chef for over this period please do not leave too late as the availability will get tighter.
Chefs - If you are looking to register for permanent work please send your CV’s to either ian@chefsinscotland.co.uk – ruth@chefsinscotland.co.uk – jojo@chefsinscotland.co.uk
Relief chefs we are still happy to look at new CV’s but as said before the priority of the work will be going to those who have worked all season and beyond
