Nastasia Costinea he joined relief 2 years ago and has been placed at The Marcliffe Hotel, Three Lemons, Balcomie Links, Cringletie House, Creagan Inn, Winnock Hotel, Balmoral Arms 3 times, Roman Camp and is due to start her next assignment on Tuesday next week. Nastasia get on well wherever she goes and is happy to undertake any job, thanks for the hard work
Chris Parker has completed his stint and is staying on longer at Armathwaite
Stuart Maccoll he has been on our books for a lot of years now, this last year has seen Stuart at The Balmoral Arms, Beaufort Hotel, Westford Inn 3 times, Glencoe Hotel, Caledonian Hotel, Mishnish, a private dinner, Grant Arms, Bothy/Bootleggers, Pebbles Spa, Mossview Care home and is currently at the Boat Inn and managed to help Nairn Golf Club for 1 day. Brian Smith is working hard at Airds.
Prakash Srinivasan is at The Shetland Hotel – his second stint on Shetland for us.
Patrick Johnstone has been registered with us doing relief work since 2017 the past year he has been to Anchor Hotel in Johnshaven, Stobo Castle, Rowardennan Hotel, Angus Hotel, Redhouse Hotel, Oban Bay, Kingsmills Hotel and is due to start back at The Rowardennan Hotel on Monday, Thanks Patrick

The availability of relief chefs is still decent but this will change as we head into next week for Easter.

Martha Doyle has just joined CIS and has been kept busy first job was at The Hospitalfield Café in Arbroath, she is now over at Glensada Quarry and has her next 3 stints booked in, thanks for the stand out work so far Martha
Pawel Sawiki he joined CIS back in 2022 and although he has only been booked for 3 or 4 jobs with us he has never been without work, his 1st job was at Cairngorm Hotel when he stayed for over a year then on to Nairn Golf Club and is currently at Bunchrew House
Paul Sim joined us at the beginning of 2022 and he too has been kept busy since starting his journey as a relief chef at Airds Hotel, Kinloch Lodge, Old Manse of Blair, Marcliffe Hotel, Royal scots Club Edinburgh (3 times) George and Dragon Hotel, Skeabost Hotel and is due to start his next job on Wednesday in Lauder – thanks Paul
After finishing a stint for us at Armathwaite Hall Rory Gaughan is over at Sligachan working with Stephen Flindall and Craig Davies.
Lee Burrell is at Achray House where his partner Sophie is also working front of house. Lee is from the Borders and has completed jobs for us at Creggans and the Black Bull at Gartmore. He starts a permanent position in mid April at Portmahomak

Out and About 16th February.
Ruth and myself have 19th chefs out workking, we are hoping there is a turn in the next week and more relief jobs will be registered.

Priority of the work will go to the chefs better known to CIS until there is a steady flow of work coming in.

Scott Maciejewski is currently working at Knipoch Hotel near Oban, Scott has been doing relief work with CIS on and off for a few years now. Scott last year speant most of his time at The Kinloch Lodge Hotel in Skye where he will be returning for 2024 season, he did a couple of short stints at the Boat Inn in Aboyne at the start of this year also. A great chef with excellent feedback.
Fraser Dingwall he is at the Portree Hotel, he has been lucky enough to be kept busy since starting back with CIS last year his first outing being The Oyster Inn in Connell, Portree Hotel, The Dunavon Hotel, Howies in Edinburgh and back in Skye. He tends to get asked back which says a lot its self. Keep up the good work Fraser and hopefully this season will be another busy one
Colin Thomson is currently at The Bridge Hotel in Buttermere this is Colin’s 2nd time being there the last time was 2021 Colin also has spent a lot of time at The Mackays hotel in Wick, last years seen him at The Bothy Bistro in Burghead, Toravaig House, Glencoe Inn and here in Moffat at The Moffat House Hotel.
Jamie Marshall moved up from Cornwall to Alexandria and is currently on relief at Thainstone House. Jamie is a solid, hard working chef who has completed jobs for us at Loch Fyne, Salutation in Perth, Loch Fyne again and Skeabost, Isle of Skye
David McMillan currently working at Killin Hotel as relief Head Chef, previous job include The Pickled Haggis and Cabarfeidh, Stornoway

Out and About Friday 9th February
Jordan Kerr – talented chef who previously completed relief jobs for us at Creggans Inn, Airds – where he stayed on longer than required, Thainstone House and is currently at 3 rosette Glenapp Castle where he started as a relief chef de partie and is now permanent sous chef.
Shaun O’Rourke - excellent Cumbrian Chef who signed up with us last year, he has completed relief jobs for Chef In Scotland at Glencoe Inn, Ness Walk, The Mash Tun, Roman Camp and is working at Tweedies in Grasmere just now before he takes up a seasonal Head Chef position at The Westford Inn, Isle of Lewis.
Christopher Parker – great reliable relief chef from County Durham. Just finishing up at a job near York for us and previously completed relief jobs at Mishnish, Isle of Mull and Barony Castle at Peebles.
Ally Bell has just finished a 2 week stint at the Sea Salt Bistro in Islay, Ally joined us back on relief last summer when he went to The Rav in St Andrews, Rosedale Hotel, Kinloch Lodge and Hebridean Inn all in Skye then down to Tweedies in Grassmere Ally gets on well in all the jobs he does for us so much so he keeps getting asked back.
Didier Nemesien is getting on very well at Ness Walk in Inverness he again came back to work on the relief circuit the back end of last year and enjoying his time out and about.
Brian Ferguson is currently at Ednam House in the Borders, he has 3AA experience and has been to Barley Bree in Perthsire, Bunchrew House in Inverness, and the Galley of Lorne Inn Lochgilphead Brian gets on well and excellent feed back.
