Out and About Friday 3rd September

We still have 43 relief chefs out working, with 5 jobs being confirmed for the week so far hoping to get this to 8 by end of play today.

We have had 17 adverts placed for the week also, most of which have went directly on the website via the link provided https://www.chefsinscotland.co.uk/content/add/
I have had a few chefs pop into the office this week, starting with Chris Roberti who works local and pops in often he is the Chef at Auchen Castle near Beattock a 5 star Wedding Venue, followed by Stuart MacColl whom I have met before he popped in on his split shift from Sure Hotel in Lockerbie where he has been for the last 8 weeks as Head Chef 1st job out since lockdown as he took a night shift position at Tesco’s, then Tony Orr came in on his way back home after finishing his 2nd stint at Bridge Hotel in Buttermere I have never met Tony before and today I will get to meet Martin Ross again who is driving past on his way home from Kirkcudbright after finishing at The Selkirk Arms Hotel.
It’s always nice meeting our chefs and we used to do this often, before COVID struck hopefully we will get back to this on a more regular basis next year.
If you are ever working down in Dumfriesshire of over the Border and you fancy popping in just let me know the date and time 😊
Thanks to you ALL for all your support and hard work
Take Care and Stay Safe xx
