Chefs In Scotland (CIS) has been developing since 1998.
Ian Godfrey joined CIS as The Specialist Permanent Chef Recruiter in early September 2024.
Ian has 20 years experience working as a Chef and has successfully completed placements VIA CIS in Moray and The Highlands of Scotland as well as having undertaken several temporary jobs via CIS over the years. Most recently Ian has been Senior Sous Chef in a 5 Red Star 3AA Rosette hotel in County Durham.

Johanna Watson is The Relief Chef Manageress and also the Company Secretary of Chefs In Scotland Limited
Having joined CIS in early 2010, Johanna has worked with CIS ever since, apart from a few months in the Lockdown in 2020.
Running a team of Excellent Relief Chefs, which at their peak have been over 100 out, throughout Scotland and England, Johanna deals with much of the day to day admin and accounts.

Johanna is based in Moffat in the South of Scotland
Managing Director, and founder Michael Tough, set up the company, when on Skye in 1998 whilst continuing to work as a chef. It took off in 2000 as Skye Recruitment before becoming Chefs In Scotland in 2001 and was registered with companies house in Edinburgh in 2006.
